Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CleanX ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CleanX is a tool that helps you review and manage accounts you follow on X (formerly Twitter). The Service analyzes your following list, surfaces accounts that may be inactive, spammy, or otherwise worth reviewing, and lets you unfollow them in bulk.

CleanX does not post, tweet, follow, message, or perform any action on your behalf other than unfollowing accounts you explicitly select for removal.

3. Account & Authentication

You authenticate with CleanX through X's OAuth system. CleanX never receives or stores your X password. You may revoke CleanX's access at any time through your X account settings.

4. Credits & Payment

CleanX operates on a credit system. Each purchase buys a pack of Unfollow Credits. One credit is spent for each confirmed unfollow. Unused credits remain available on your account indefinitely.

All payments are processed through Stripe. CleanX does not store your payment card details. Purchases are final and non-refundable; unused credits stay available for future use.

CleanX is not a subscription service. You are never charged on a recurring basis. You purchase credit packs only when you choose to.

5. Unfollow Actions

CleanX only unfollows accounts you explicitly select and confirm. Algorithmic recommendations are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for the accounts you choose to unfollow. CleanX cannot reverse unfollow actions — you can re-follow any account directly on X.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates X's Terms of Service, applicable laws, or the rights of others. CleanX reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these terms.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with X, Stripe, and third-party API providers. CleanX is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services. Use of X remains subject to X's own Terms of Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. CleanX does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis results will be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CleanX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
